Oh my..

They just like the nature just like my dad..

My dad went to lots lots of islands and this coming 1st of June we’ll be going to Pulau Tioman..

Pulau Lang Tengah or Lang Tengah Island off the coast of Terengganu is one of the nation’s well-kept secrets.

The pin labeled A indicates the location of the island..

It’s near to Redang Island..

So u can see the main road in Terengganu..

Their Paten liao liao.. all kinds of post.. hehe..

The scenery is very nice as well..

That is Pulau Redang.. haha.. u believe me?

Actually i cant really differentiate the islands that i went to..

All looks alike nia..

Except some la.. Which has unique features..

If snorkeling then will see mostly the same thing gua..

Nice weather go island also syok..

I have went to a numbers of island..

Almost all the main island i have been to in Peninsular Malaysia..

Not including Sarawak and Sabah la..

So we cont for Day 2.. Day 2 was another interesting day..

We went for snorkelling..

But wait, not so early yet..

We have not taken our breakfast..

So after our simple breakfast, we still have to wait till around 10am for the boatman to come..

Basically the resort is quite small..

And the beach is quite short as well..

All the chalets were built on rocks..

I wonder izzit strong enough to last for long period..

Coz the wave will hit the rocks everyday..

Who knows one day..

Erhmm.. hehe..

Hard Rock Bali leh.. haha.. We went to Bali Island in Jan 2009..

The original Hard Rock T-shirt will cost u easily up to Rm100++.. whereas mine only Rm10.. Everything is the same except the quality lo.. haha..

That time was low tight a bit so we can walk further down the beach..

We’re waiting for the boatman to come at 10am..

For those who have nothing to do during their holidays, can go to Tioman Island la..

The scenery is very very beautiful..

Not too expensive..

But longer boat ride la.. have to take ferry for 2 hours..

So let me show u the scenery..

Actually Tioman Island is quite big..

U can see the other part of Tioman Island on the left where Berjaya Resort is situated..

However, the sad part is no water sports or games over here..

No banana ride..

No flying fish..

No canoeing..

Just snorkeling + diving + fishing..

But…

Who cares..

We don play those stuff.. hehe..

But most youngsters like those stuff..

3 Days 2 night at Panuba Inn Resort..

My sis has to work, so bad luck la..

In the freezing ferry to Tioman Island..

We were frozen for 2 hours in the ferry..

When 5pm like that, we prepared to swim lo.. changed clothing and applied sun block.. scared get skin cancer a!!

Hehe.. floating.. how to float leh? get a doo-nun, tummy la.. then can float lo.. got spare tire ma..

haha..

We’re getting nearer and nearer to sut sut..

On the 26th of May, that was the first day of the school holiday, we went to Rawa Island.. The whole family except my sis.. EY on job.. Bo bian, gotta go Kluang for audit.. So we went without her..

Anyway, you guys must be curious how did we find this island? Not as famous as Tioman island or Redang Island.. So a bit of intro from other website..

” A dream of an island 16km off the coast of Mersing. Stretches of white sugary sand, secluded beaches, clear green water and swaying palm fronds offering cooling shades. A special place that beckons you to be yourself. As the waves carry away your troubles, the breeze smoothens those perpetual frown lines and the sun just warms up every corner of your heart. Truly, an unspoilt oasis of peace and tranquility. No TV, no phone lines, no cars, no crowds and no reason to run after time.

The island was discovered by Tunku Mohammed Archibald as a perfect fishing haven. In 1971, he built Rawa Island Resort also known as Rawa Safaris. The resort houses 63 units of chalets and bungalows. I didn’t read about it, so dunno the content of this article.. haha.. What i know is that is Rm470 per head for 3 days 2 nights, double the price of Sibu Island.. Why the hell expensive?

Coz the water ma.. Have to be supplied from Mersing.. According to 1 of the chef there..

Wah, paradise wo.. exclusive island, only ang mo and VIP.. haha..

The whole island.. can see the jetty there..

This island does not provide any snorkeling services because you can snorkel around the beaches there.. actually this island is more for family, not for youngster because the activities usually seen in other island wont be available in this island, such as banana ride, flying fish…

So you can most of the people there are ang mo and “oldies”.. hehe

Sun-bathing lo.. and stare at the sky, wait for time to pass.. lol..

So at 9.30am, we set off from Permas.. my house la..

Then around 12 noon we reached Mersing jetty..

The ferry we took? Nop.. half of the size.. haha.. coz not many ppl know the place and too expensive..

Zommm!!! Here we go!! We set off from Mersing jetty and it took 25 minutes to reach the island.. speed boat ma..

wah, the sea water so clam o.. can see other island also.. got Besar Island.. Just beside our island.. not in this pic la.. this pic was taken on the way to Rawa Island..

Neh, this was the “speed boat” we took.. haha.. As if la! This is the boat of the shareholder of the resort that we stayed..

Not forgetting the hill side.. not focusing on the sea side only.. hehe..

It was 1.30pm that time.. Under the hot sun and we were all exhausted..

After a short boat ride, we reached the Marine Park and first went inside to visit their “museum” which is very very lousy..

We went back to our resort after this tiring 6 hours trip.. At day 4 early in the morning, we took the earliest ferry back.. 7.30am ferry.. And this was the end for my Redang Trip..

( Wah finally.. Long posts..Hiuh.. )

Day 3 early in the morning, we went to have our breakfast.. Roti Canai.. >.< Same stuff again… Sienz.. At there we met the boatman.. Oh.. That’s the place where the boatman lives.. Her wife owns a coffee shop.. Lolz.. So coincidence!!

After our breakfast, we proceeded to the towel counter to take our towel for outing.. Got into the boat, and got ready for the outing for today! Used 2 camera, Olympus and Fujifilm..

Our first stop was at Ratan Bay.. Not sure is Rotan or Ratan.. Handwriting sux.. Should be Ratan.. Hehe..

Without wasting any more precious time, we jumped into the sea! Started snorkelling around but saw dead corals! Lol.. Lots of fishes and they thought we’re the “food”.. Luckily didn’t poke at my leg >.<

I accidentally drank a few mouth of sea water.. So salty! Dehydrated.. Lol.. So we proceeded to our second stop at Turtle Bay..

As you can see, the water at Turtle Bay has different colour.. More bluish.. My handsome daddy also.. hehe..

This other boatman tried to catch the turtle! What a stupid act!!

He chased the turtles off!! Or else I’ll have a chance to get closer with the turtles!! Pissed me off!

And after this, we went off form Turtle Bay and proceeded to Long Beach..

Ok, now it’s time to get off from here and proceed to the Long Beach! We stopped outside there to see baby shark.. But unlucky though.. Can’t see any.. Now is 12.30 noon.. So hot and my skin already burnt till red.. Hehe..

Please read Day 1 first before reading this.. Early in the morning at 7 am we checked out and went to Syahbandar Jetty to buy tickets. The ferry will come at 10.30 am but we scared that it’s the peak season now so we went there much earlier..hehe.. Kiasu? Nop..

At 10.15 am, the ferry came..

This was it.. Our ferry.. around 200 ++ people that day..

The ferry-ride will take around 1 hour more to reach at Berjaya Redang Beach Resort.. So we watched Night At The Museum in the ferry.. Couldn’t finish the movie.. Of course!

Finally, reached there!!

It was out of my expectation.. Bit disappointed since the place is very commercialize now! With car, motor, road!! Even Astro!! What the heck??? Last time at Sibu and Tioman Island were totally different!! No cars at all!

The bridge.. Haha.. Anyway, see that girl with red bag? She’s cute and pretty! Haha..

So we waited for 5 minutes for the bus to come and fetch us.. 3 Km from the jetty to our resort! A small, lousy and old bus came.. Didn’t manage to take a photo of it.. Haha.. Short of time..

When we reached there, it was full of people! Very crowded! Lots of local people and Singaporean.. Ang moh few nia.. Think they prefer Laguna beach resort.. That’s the place where a famous Taiwan TV series shot.. think so.. 夏日末末茶.. Will post out the picture on Day 3.. I went there too! Hehe..

Took our lunch at 1-2pm like that and saw other people just came back from snorkelling.. Awful lunch! Yucks! Very oily but what to do? Not like at Laguna there.. Here every people took package with Berjaya Redang Resort and took their meals there..

At 3pm, finally! We checked in the resort!

It’s like a long house~~ Hehe..

We took a nap since the weather was too hot for beach activities..

At 4 pm, we went to the Berjaya beach! Decided to get our feet wet ONLY! haha..

As you can see from the above pics, the water is crystal clear!! Saw lots of people sun bathing but not us! Haha.. At 6 something, we went back to our room to get ready for our dinner..

We decided to try out the local food so walked out from the resort..

This is roughly the whole island and other smaller islands..

So we took our dinner at this place and booked our snorkelling trip for tomorrow.. 6 hours round the whole island and stop at 6 different places to see corals, fishes, turtles, baby shark, 末末茶, and Marne Park..  Rm60 per pax and our boat will include another family from singapore but china people~

After our dinner we went to the resort there to walk around.. I went to the souvenier shop to buy something for my GF.. Saw a underwater camera from Fujifilm so decided to buy it and give it a try..Rm70 for 27 exposures..

This “was” it.. As the camera couldn’t be reused..

Read some newspaper and went for some games! Hehee….

After snoker, my bro played till very cocky coz all the other players dunno how to play or still newbie.. So i decided to play with him.. But as you know if you read my previous posts on my lung (blog categories>medic), doctor said no exercise for at least a week.. However at that time i feel much much better so decided to give it a try.. However when i used more strength, i feel uneasy on my chest.. So i stopped straight a way! Went back to my room and rest..

We started off our long journey from JB to KT at 7am.. Reached at Kuantan at 12 noon and went to take our lunch. Pass by our old house at Kuantan (sold).

After the lunch, we went to visit our old friend at Kuantan.. My old classmate.. Now at Utar.. And then we continue our journey again… Heading north to Kuala Terengganu!

See that island?? Redang island lo.. Haha..

It started to rain… Troublesome.. Very troublesome..

And finally we reach KT.. Dinner time! Saw a wedding dinner there.. A very very small wedding dinner.. Around 20 tables with no karaoke, no MC, nothing at all.. Just pure “wedding DINNER”! I was shocked~~ They just ate and ate.. No photographer also!! Sienz!! Very simple wedding dinner.. Our table was beside their’s only.. So those outsider may thought that we’re attending their wedding dinner too!! Haha..

However, the nightmare for my dad “nearly” happened! What?? A common and simple mistake nearly spoilt our day!

RM110.90 can be typed to RM1109.90!! Another 9 makes so much difference!
