It is a reputable brand in Swiss watch and hence i thought it would be good to buy Longines to Tissot..

I personally like this model as well..

It is hydroconquest model which has a 300m water resistant function.. Anyway, I dont think my dad will really wear it during snorkeling la.. haha

The crown to adjust the date & time is a screw down type and with protection at the side to prevent scratching  your wrist..

The buckle is the deployment type, which has extra security to the chain.. Not like my Tissot which can be opened quite easily..

It also comes with a 2 years international warranty..

Dad, hope u like it.. Although I couldn’t get the leather one..

Saw in WatchUSeek.com a thread showing the new TAG Carrera Automatic (Serial No: WV211A.FC6203) acquired by a forumer..

I think this type of watch is simple and elegant, suitable for a special grand function, considered a dress watch..

It is very easy to recognize a TAG by its logo! I like the logo very much!

The TAG Calibre 5 automatic watch movement!

This one is around RM5800 before discount.. Usually Swiss watches can get discount up to 30%.. If u’re handsome enough, u can get up to 50%.. haha

U may want to ask what is a dress watch and what is not a dress watch?

This is a TAG Heuer Aquaracer.. sport type.. obvious isn’t it?

So now i have a sport type watch (Tissot PRS516 Automatic), when will i own a dress watch then?

Recently it needed to service because of off-time..

Faster around 5 min in 2 days..

So i tried my luck in Ocean Watch in Tun Jugah, Authorized seller for Tissot watches in Kuching..

He just some special machine to check for me and said will be done in a few minutes and asked me to wait for a while..

He took a microscope and started to fix it for me..

And woola! Done!

He told me even if i do not want to wear it, just turn the crown (the thing u use to set time in ur watch) clockwise for 20 times and it will last for a day!

I heard of this before but i thought it was just applicable to those higher-end watches like Omega, Rolex etc..

So i went to read my User’s Manual again and he was right!

He said this feature only available in Swiss watch and not Japan branded watch.. But i’m not sure though..

Another good thing about Swiss watch is that in battery powered Quartz watch, if ur battery is low, the second-needle will start to jump 4 seconds instead of 1 second.. So u know when u have to change ur battery!

Nice feature though!
