Last time it was in 2008 I think.. When I was in Year 2..

When I woke up in the morning.. getting ready to go out..

Out of sudden..

Jun Ing called me and said it’s flooded!

But that time not yet flood inside the house..

U can see the impending flooding.. The water is coming in!

Oh.. finally came in already..

Nothing much we can do except helping landlord to move things to higher places..

Duh.. The water stink!

1 hour later.. getting worse.. ankle level in the kitchen.. shin level outside of the house..

Now we’re stuck!

And hey, so what can we do now?

Checking how’s our friends doing..

Yeah, still play FB when the house is flooded

And in our faculty hostel.. my friends car are stuck!

Some are bit lucky to get into higher place but still cant run away from the water!

Ok, back to business of cleaning

Wow! That’s a 100k unique visitors and 4 million hits!

As expected, most of the users were using Windows.. Whooping 84%! Apple u still have long way to go to catch up Windows!

But if compared to the type of browser used, then it’s a bit weird.. maybe the sever cannot recognized properly..

However, still lots of people prefer the original IE than Firefox or Chrome..

Personally I like Google Chrome very much!

I would say 2011 is quite a fruitful year for me and lets recap what has happened

In January, I was in Sibu for my community posting.. Enjoying the honeymoon posting. lol

Had a great time with my friends and also learnt new stuff.. SPSS!

Visited Lau King Howe Hospital in Sibu..

Also visited Bukit Aup Jubilee Park in Sibu..

Also tasted the fruit king Durian in Sibu!

And then  came  CNY 2011!

And this year I  visited Krabi in Thailand.. A very nice place!

I think the most exciting month for 2011 will be my Elective Posting in UK!!

I went to University of Edinburgh for my medical elective!

I had a chance to tour Europe as well!

Had a chance to take Emirates

Passing by Birmingham..

Visited London

Visited Rome’s Castle

Visited Arc de Triomph Paris

Visited Olympia Stadion Berlin

and many many more!!

And after coming back from my elective, it’s time to get back to reality.. YEAR 5!

In April, I moved into a new house.. The 2nd worse thing has happened in 2011.. My house got break in!

Lost my laptop, camera and my new Osprey!

And also I lost the hope of getting a DSLR!

Later my parents came to visit me in Kuching and the worst thing had happened at that time! Guess what is it? Slowly take your time la.. haha

They also visited Bako National Park!

And later in Oct I  attended my buddy’s convo!

And later Steve Jobs passed away!! Sob sob..

And to prove I support Steve Jobs gao gao, I bought iPad 2!

Haha.. no la.. joking.. I bought iPad 2 for other reason..

Then was  my sister big day in October! Wedding!

And later an exciting event has occurred as well! U also think slowly.. haha

So that’s pretty much for 2011.. There’s bumps here and there but also joyful events..

Hope for a better year in 2012!

My first priority is GRADUATION

Often in medical school, we can hear different “quotes” by different specialists..

Some are classics!

One BIG question in my mind..

How come in medicine I studied for so many times also will forget but when I look at gadgets such as iPhone 4s, DSLR etc, I will never forget at one glance? LOL

And I know the most suitable quote for this question will be….

First-year students at a Medical School were receiving their first anatomy class with a real dead human body. They all gathered around the surgery table with the body covered with a white sheet.

The professor started the class by telling them, “In medicine, it is necessary to have 2 important qualities as a doctor. The first is that you are not disgusted by anything involving the human body.” For an example, the professor pulled back the sheet, stuck his finger in the butt of the corpse, withdrew it and stuck it in his mouth. “Go ahead and do the same thing,” he told his students.

The students freaked out, hesitated for several minutes, but eventually took turns sticking a finger in the butt of the dead body and sucking on it.

When everyone finished, the Professor looked at them calmly and told them, “The second most important quality is observation. I stuck in my middle finger and sucked on my index finger. Now learn to pay attention….”

At that time, the cassette player was the best in the market & hence I got myself 1 of those..

I got Sony Walkman for around Rm100 I suppose?

And then the CD came into the picture.. With VCD & MP3 as well..

I got the Sony brand CD player as well..

It accompanied me for around 1-2 years before I kicked it away again.. lol

I went to Singapore to buy another new one coz at that time the Singapore electronics were far cheaper  compared to Malaysia..

And I saw a VCD player which cost RM800 in Malaysia only sold half of the price in Singapore! Gosh! Gotta get 1..

So I got the VCD player.

Before I could really enjoy the new VCD player, Apple revolutionized the music industry by coming out with iPod!

At that time, iPod was so damn expensive and I could not bear to throw my money into the dustbin just like that..

More-over, Singapore’s company Creative came out a similar product to iPod but cost almost half of it as well.. LOL

So I went to get myself a Creative Zen MP3 Player 4GB.. It has black & white screen..

Holy shit, 4GB ain’t enough for me!

I transferred a few hundreds of R&B songs into my Creative Zen then suddenly I felt like listening to Elton John’s Crocodile Rock.. I have to switch on my PC & delete some songs from my MP3 player & transfer the song into it..

So my heart was very itchy itchy to get a BIGGER capacity MP3 player..

This time I went to Singapore again..

I got Creative Zen Vision:M 60GB with colour screen

Holy 60GB.. It can even  play photos, videos, FM radio, calendar & alarm..lol

So how big was the MP3 player?

Now R.I.P liao.. due to hard disk failure.. lol

So 2 years back when Apple came out with iPhone 3G, phone + internet + iPod..

It thrilled me & the same old me went to get it again at City Square when Maxis just launched it in Malaysia.. I was the pioneer group to get an official iPhone in Malaysia.. lol

And hence also the pioneer & stupid people to get the expensive iPhone! At that time, iPhone 3G cost RM3400 with contract!

Now my iPhone almost R.I.P also.. 1 leg stepped inside the coffin liao..lol

So, what’s next?

What’s the future of music player?

Yes, this is my future! LOL

All right, now I’m in the final year and it’s my turn to attend my buddy’s convo!

Yes, so many ppl there.. So many DSLR, Nippon lah, Cannon lah, Sorry lah..

I took out my secret weapon, THE iPhone 3G!

The exit that they will come out.. everyone is waiting..

Come’on! haha
