Mac peripheral maker ZoomMediaPlus will be launching an interesting iPhone accessory at MacWorld!

It’s the ZoomIt SD card reader that users can connect to their iPhone to access external photos, videos, music and other documents.

Finally an external memory card for iPhone.. haha.. Nice..

So, why is Flash still not available on the iPhone after few generations?

When the iPhone was released, and it didn’t support Flash, Steve Jobs had stated that Flash Lite for mobile was not full featured enough, while the full version of Flash would not run well on the iPhone due to the limited resources available. When Apple announced iPad, a more powerful device on the iPhone OS platform, which also won’t support Flash.

Steve Jobs has given a different reason for not supporting Flash. According to him, Apple doesn’t support Flash because it is too buggy.

Lol! buggy, if it is really buggy, Adobe will surely fix it.. so why worry about it?

We will have to first see how Apple’s app economy operates. Apple is making tons of money by selling iPhone apps, the iPhone apps help in increasing the stickiness of the iPhone platform, which is invaluable.

So when an iPhone user is planning to upgrade to a new mobile phone, one of the things he or she will always think about is the money already spent in buying the iPhone apps or games.

But, by allowing Flash to run on the iPhone, Apple could be committing suicide as it could then mean the availability of a third party interface for users to play games and could even start a parallel app economy, which is independent of the device.

We are as mad as Anwar Ibrahim now!

How many casual gamers do you think would continue purchasing games from the App Store when they are able to access the hundreds of Flash based gaming websites on Safari’s web browser?

The answers to these questions will probably tell us why Apple refuses to let Flash run on the iPhone OS platform.

It’s time to wake up Apple, sweet dream is over..

Yet another lousy product from Apple.. the new Apple’s iPad.. LOL

It’s a joke man!

It’s just like an iPod Touch on steroid.. Bigger screen, can install the apps same as in iPod Touch..

No Multi-Tasking

No jaw-droppingly new user interface

No built-in camera

No Flash support

No user-replaceable battery

No iPhone software 4.0 announcement

What a disappointment..

However, it does look cool~ :P

I have gave up on “cracked” apps and finally decided to buy the original apps..

Apps that i have bought in US dollar (around 3x conversion rate):

  1. Appbox Pro $0.99: lot useful apps in one including currency converter, language converter etc
  2. Defender Chronicles $0.99: This is a defence tower game which is the best i can say in iTunes Apps store
  3. Flick Fishing $0.99: The best fishing game in iTunes Apps store as well
  4. GoodReader $0.99: My PDF, Power point reader! Definitely worth $0.99!!
  5. Instant ECG $0.99: Big sale from $5.99 to $0.99 so i couldn’t control myself but to buy it.. lol but it’s useful in learning ECG
  6. iXpenseLT $2.99: This is the most expansive apps that i have bought.. Can track all my expanses in my iPhone nicely..I have tried other free ones but just did not suit my taste..
  7. LCube $0.99: Rubic Cube in iPhone.. what do u think? 3D playing and solving in iPhone :)
  8. Medical Terms & Abbreviations $0.99: very useful in the ward as lots of abbreviations that they used which i do not know the meaning..
  9. Terminator Salvation $0.99: One of the best shooting game in iPhone

U can afford to spend RM30 to eat Sushi King and cannot afford to pay RM3 for a single apps?!

Actually lots of medical apps in iPhone are provided free of charge so i didn’t use a single penny to buy them..

And also the Skyscape Apps.. Before that i have cracked the contents of it so basically “once cracked, forever yours”.. coz it’s saved inside my user ID and it will appear when i log in.. so basically it’s FOC as well for now :P

What i want to say that i really like iPhone’s Apps very much..

I like their App Store very much..

Only thing i dislike is the bluetooth function which disabled us to bluetooth pics or files to other phones.. Only iphone to iPhone of ipod touch..

Or else it will be perfect!

My sis told me that all my Aussie cousins are using iPhone now LOL :)

Happy New Year, welcome 2010!
