Bought this GPS/Phone holder for car to hold my iPhone..
I flashed the latest map from MalFreeMap (MFM) to Papago, it worked perfectly..
So with the latest map & voice navigation, i wont mind spending RM15 for the car holder..
However, the GPS signal in iphone still need to be improved..
Lets hope iPhone OS4.0 which will be released in July will open the bluetooth for external usage.. then maybe can pair with bluetooth GPS device..

I have papago M6 pro installed on my i phone 3Gs. The gps software was working fine.
After i updated the software new Os 4.01 to my phone, the papago Gps is unable to establish any satellite signal. [I have turn off the 3g as read from internet forum, it is not working] I wonder if there is a conflict with the new OS.
Please advise me on this.

U meant turn off 3G then could not detect satellite signal?
U can try re-installing the Papago after deleting it from ur iPhone
The turning off of 3 G is what I read from the internet forum. They say ask to turn it off so that the satellite signal can be receive. I did that but still unable to establish satellite connection. Before updating to ios 4.0.1, it take only around 45sec to a min to complete satellite connection.
I will try re-installing it again. Will let u know.

I’m not sure about that coz i’m using i3G.. and in iOS4, Papago is slow as usual in iOS3.2.1.. took very long time for me to lock the signal.. so felt kinda ripped off for the price i paid

After reinstalling, gps is working fine.
Establishing the signal is faster now with the new iOS. Thats compare to the iOS 3.2 & 4.0.1. It shows a pink like ‘tick’, symbol like Nike logo. previous did not show such logo.

I have the same problem. After you reinstall. You sync from the iTune back or directly download from app store? If download from app store will charge me again?

Nope, Papago does not use Data.. anyway, u can switch off the data in iOS 4. so not to worry so much
