Turkey is an Islamic country. However the people there drink beer and wine and rear dogs to take care of their homes. the people there are very friendly. However the cost of living is very high. A litre of RON 95 petrol cost RM 8.40! Room rate at Wow hotel is EU 300 per nite i.e almost equivalent to RM 1500! 500 ml of drinking water cost RM 1.50. Anyway it is a country worth visiting, full of history and historical sites, but alas Malaysian dont study Turkey history. So most of us do not know anything about Turkey, dont know who is Ataturk and so on.If you ever have a chance, go visit Turkey.
