Made some changes since HO is 2 years now..

Consultant.. dunno when will be my turn.. hehe..

Dr Ooi always said study in the ward!!

U can even throw away ur textbook if u really study in the ward..

Clerk as many cases as u can and then go back n read about the case in the textbook..

Really can meh Dr Ooi??

Today’s assessment if 24hr go to ward also no use la..

For me i think ward is for Clinical while u still need to read like hell in the basic medical years to cover ur ass for the MCQ, BAQ, MEQ and SAQ..

Went to paramount hotel..

Asked about the Internet service.. Wifi..

can’t connect to it.. Low signal..

Called again..

Sorry, I can’t Connect to the deConeXion la.. Can I have the linksys wifi password? Apparantly i saw the wireless access point outside the corridor..

Ada Internet service Ka?

Ada, tingkat bawah guna linksys, tigkat Atascadero guna deConnexion..

Say tak dapat masuk itu la.. Boleh bagi linksys password?

Ada liksys ke?

Followed dr lim wardround.. It’s the rule that u have to spend some time wasted when.they’re discussing about the management of the patient.. alas, my patience was not wasted..

Come, tell me how u diferentiate the right lung upper, middle and lower lobes.. I was puzzled.. Walao, x Ray can show de meh?

From my basic medical knowledge I dunno how la.. So act like know lo.. Take d x Ray then look at it.. At leat I tried ok! Haha

then shook my head.. He asked anoher MO or HO to teach me..

Then question me back on the x Ray.. Luckily Tikam correct la..

Then ask me left lung can have 3 lobes.. Hmmmm.. I said er.. No?

He said yes.. A condition where all organs terbalik in the positon… Hmmmm.. Yalo, why I have never think of that.. Aiseh

Friday really v v little ppl come to hospital.. Hmmm.. Either pia at home or sleep at home.. Hehe..

Just a reminder to those wanna buy, please please make sure u can totally switch off the internet, eg GPRS, EDGE or 3G in ur iphone if ur sim card has no internet..

I used my celcom sim card before WITHOUT monthly internet.. then iphone went online itself somehow..

Kena charged RM30++ for nothing..

I’m not sure how but i din close the EDGE and 3G la..

Dr Lim was ward rounding  early in the morning..

I kepo follow them..

Then he asked HO, MO what is the characteristic of nephrotic syndrome..

They said proteinuria..

Dr. Lim: “value?”

HO, MO started to teka..

Then fedup..

Dr Lim saw me..

“Medical student comes..”

Asked me same question..

I said proteinuria >3.5g/day..

Then he said gram??

I was like.. er.. if not mistaken la..

Then one HO answered..

I took out my iphone to check last year lecture..

Hmm.. I was right and wrong at the same time..

Right for the value but wrong as the value is for adult!!

Then he discharged the patient..

Pulled out the daily chart papers..

Saw my name n phone number pulak..

Read out loud loud..

Then looked at me n asked me “u’re wei juan a?”

Smiled and gave me back..

What a wonderful medical life huh?

As promised before.. the Sibu house pics..

Quite big parking space.. but..

Have to gostan all the car when 1 car is going out lo.. zzz..

I was on the phone with my mom chatting randomly..

Then i asked my mom about the H1N1 cases..

I seldom update myself with the news after coming to Sibu..

She said: ” Dunno la.. Wont die one if kena..”

=.=|||

Walao.. hehe..

Anyway, i have updated my iPhone to the latest 3.0 software..

Which means??

I can tether my internet to my laptop..

But Maxis doesnt have 3G in Sibu..

Kau!! Damn slow the speed..

Speed is everything man..

Oh ya, my parents always wanted to see the condition of the house..

Ok, i will upload later..

Time really flies.. So fast another week has ended.. iPhone 3gs is coming to Malaysia this end of July.. While Singapore has got theirs yesterday.. Read news in the net, stating the response was very very good and the opening was grand enough with fireworks.. LOL..

Just a phone only.. So excited..

Anyway, after 2 weeks in the wards, I realized that the apps that I really used a lot was taber’s medical dictionary, documents to go to read PDF, power point file, Harrison internal medicine, email, facebook, take a note..

Apps that I used occasionaly were netter’s anatomy, stedman medical dictionary, differential diagnosis, eponyms..

I have never play games before, never listen to music before, never watch YouTube, never watch movie..

So basically I’m using it for medical purposes.. Hmmm..

Surprise?
