I don’t agree with everything in this piece, but you do make some very good points. Im very interested in this subject and I myself do alot of research as well. Nostalgic.. This is the third time I went to Tioman. The 1st time was in the 70s. No chalet or resort whatsoever, only Malay huts. I still remember we rented the huts for RM 3 per nite, no mattress, only mats. But we really enjoyed sleeping on the beach. We brought our own food and cooked ourselves… No aircon ferry, going there by fishing boat…Will still go there
