by the way the o2 XDA Flame is a HTC model. O2 rebranded it after buying from them.

Because Windows Mobile is easier to use. It’s just like using your laptop and beginners friendly. The Palm OS has been out of the mainstream market for quite a while now over here, as if you look at all the pda phones here barring old models, they all use Windows Mobile. So yea I’d personally go for something which is more common on the market compared to some defunct junk.

go for windows mobile 6.0, no one uses palm os in the UK anymore. By the way the phones up there are crap to be honest. The best phones out there currently are the HTC series, especially the HTC TyTN Kaiser II. You might also want to check out the Toshiba Protege.
