No problem with that. I got a friend who defaulted from her group at the last minute when she was doing house-hunting after agreeing to sign a contract with an agent! It’s every man for himself in the real world, i did that as well, no big deal really. If I am not mistaken kee foo hasn’t even started searching for a house right? In that case tell him that you have already found a confirmed place for next year and you do not want to go through the whole house hunting process as it’s very troublesome.
But on the other hand are you sure that you will be cool staying with so many people? Sure they are all studios type but when you have a lot of people there tend to have a lot of disagreements as well. And to be honest your friends a bit kiam siap la… RM800 a month also complain expensive meh? It’s only RM200 per person! I’m paying RM800 for rent per week now lol.
My 2 pence
master bedroom 2 ppl share..erm..they wanna use ptptn loan to cover everything..including school fees, lodging and catering..so they counted it’s not enough if Rm200 per month..that’s y ask me to join them..hehe..but i’m ok with it since most of the timei wont be at home..from 8am till 5pm i’ll be in the faculty..then at night maybe go library as what i’m doing now when staying in hostel..hehe
Walao so calculative meh…one penny also don’t want to spend. All want to use government money only…XD Anyway I don’t see any problems in defaulting, it’s not about betraying or anything. When one has a better deal of course you would opt for the best. Just do it. He will understand one la, if not then might as well no need for such a friend.
