As we all know if this world is without exam, then i think i wont be in UNIMAS la.. All the chinese also no need study liao, can go sell kueh tiao.. Lol

But if you think again, if you can’t score, means you do not really know about the block, right?
And.. Getting good result is not to compare with others but yourself.. That’s what i think..
Getting lousy result means what you have given (thx jienz) in for the past few weeks is really a waste coz in the end you know nothing also when the problems are given in EOB, right?
So it doesn’t mean that you “win” people if you score, if you get into Dean’s list..

Errr exams is only one way of being assessed, i’m not sure about medicine, but for big UK firms right exams is only important for initial screening, cuz after the initial screening the exam results are useless, you will need to sit a test conducted by the firms and you will need to focus on passing that.
So yea even if one gets into the Dean list in LSE (which is quite prestigious as it’s like one of the top unis in the world) it doesn’t matter much if you fail the firms’ tests. AFter all once you enter the job market, exams results do not matter anymore, and i think at uni stages one should start to priortize and employ practical knowledge instead of betting all on books.

so yea my final conclusion is that exams in school are important, but they may not be as important as one might think they would be.
I agree with henry, exams may not be as important as one might think they would be.“Scoring an A for your EOB doesn’t mean that you are a good doctor”…that is true, when u go to the hospital, u will know what makes a good doctor then.
One’s IQ n EQ are equally important for me.
