These few days i was busy preparing for UNIMAS.. Appealing job but in the end gave up.. Due to some internal error, I have to give up.. Hehe.. Don’t ask me what’s the “Error”~ Went to KL to attend a talk by MCA.. And got into the newspaper again for the problem.. But met some trouble when getting the teacher’s signature.. That’s for sure.. No doubt.. In the end got it.. Hmmm.. Feel pai seh also to create havoc in my school..

Anyway, it’s good also to study in UNIMAS.. But i see not many students got UNIMAS.. They prefer UMS… Why?? WHY???WHY!!!!
Checked the net and UMS’s Medical faculty started on 2003 while UNIMAS on 1995.. So? Common sense.. Should be better right? Hmm… Dunno also lah.. Think i should get back to my packing work.. Anyway, anyone know any students get UNIMAS medic or other course can give them my mail.. omegakimia@hotmial.com have something to ask them.. Thx..
I perceive that you’re indeed a lil’ bit languid having realized that you are coming to UNIMAS. Hence, my condolences for you getting UNIMAS by the way. Anyhow, should you be having 2nd thoughts on appealing to other unis, my advise is it’s a waste of time, unless your opting for another non-medic course. If your loaded enough, you can try enrollling in IMU.
Anyway, bout your comparison with UMS. No doubt UNIMAS’s medical faculty has been there for quite sometime, and my batch would be the 8th batch to graduate, in next year. Well, technically we should be more endured that UMS. Still, UNIMAS isn’t that perfect as one would think. Perhaps your 2nd year senior Pui Wen may enlighten you about it. Feel free to ask her to list out how bad UNIMAS is.
If your interested to know what to bring or buy, or even how the campus is like (MedFac is in town center, separated from the main campus), you can refer to Pui Wen (I wonder who she is). However, if you’d like to know what you’ll really learn and how UNIMAS’s learning system is all about, your 2nd year senior would still be a lil bit green to give you rejoinders bout them.
Like any other 5th year seniors who high ontop on the predatory hierachy, it will be not unusual for people to compliment us being snobbish and unpleasant, esp. me. Still, we care no less bout it, since what we’re concerned now is to graduate ASAP.
Oh what am I gibbering now. You’ve got one senior who’s from Kuantan as well. I’ll try and ask him whether he wants to entertain you.

hehe agree, after all my US friends say that one can enter Harvard if one makes a donation of 1 million USD, so any scrub monkey can get in there now provided you have the cash :p

UNIMAS main campus is 45 minutes drive from my medical faculty.. so I cant comment on the main campus situation.. But for medical faculty, the hostel sux, especially outside one coz motor, HP got stolen before.. But i’m staying outside.. My house just got broke in before Gawai (June).. sad
UNIMAS main campus is BIG & nice.. went there a few times during my 1st year & senior graduation.. The compound is big, library is awesome.. facilities wise still ok i think.. hostel there is new.. I overnight once there only during 1st year..
Food is ok also.. got dedicated chinese food which I tried during 1st year in 2007.. lol
Where r u from? Coming over alone? They provide shuttle bus service also when u reach at Kuching International Airport to UNIMAS main campus by UNIMAS bus..
ooo…exactly like what my senior told me earlier….somehow luckily i m not going to the medical faculty…hahaha
