Malaysia’s pirated CD is going down!! Thanks to our Lucky and Flo.. Erm..However, now almost all the computer software are needed to be activated online.. For example Windows Vista.. Which needed to be activated online only can be used..
So pirated stuff can’t do anything much..(Now they have a countdown-stopper to activate it though) However, some research said that it’s only will work for around 3 months.. Dunno??
However, for those songs, usually downloaded through Torrent..hehe..Movies? Torrent too!! Actually, you know what?
I asked them : “Is it the movie clear?”
They replied : “We downloaded from net,it’s clear..”
I was wondering..Downloaded?Torrent?hehe.. So what for i buy?? Go back download la!! So left the store..lolz..Din buy at all..support original CDs!!
More than a million pirated optical discs worth RM19mil have been seized this year, mainly because of the sniffing skills of Lucky and Flo.
The two black Labrador Retrievers were flown here from Northern Ireland in March to help check piracy of optical discs.
Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry deputy director-general (enforcement) Iskandar Halim Sulaiman said the dogs were so successful that their services had been extended till July.
The dogs’ contribution in terms of seizures was RM12mil, with 13 suspects arrested
“From 2000 until this year, a total of 41,794,239 pirated discs including DVDs, VCDs, software, games and music CDs have been seized and the estimated worth is RM497.42mil,” he said at the 35th anniversary celebrations of the ministry’s enforcement unit here yesterday.
